Through our work with CCEAL, Palomar College gained great insight about the needs of disproportionately impacted students. Our work to gather input via surveys, focus groups and one-on-one interviews with faculty provided us the guideposts we needed to move toward tangible actions. As a result, we were able to address issues such as food insecurity, campus safety, and faculty training. Palomar is committed to equity-centered institutional effectiveness, and CCEAL has been a key partner in our equity work.
